HOW TO RESERVE
The most efficient way to contact us is by email using the request form on
our web site – please
click here. Emails are answered promptly, usually the same day they
are sent. The request form should be filled out completely to help us propose
the most suitable accommodation for you. We will recommend accommodations to suit your
needs. Sending an email and telephoning increases the processing
time for your request; please just do one or the other.
Once you have decided where you want to stay, you will be sent a booking form
with all the payment details. A deposit of about 25% is required to
confirm your reservation. The deposit can
be paid quickly and efficiently via the secure server on our web site. Once
the deposit is processed, you will receive a confirmation with the name of
your host, the address of the property, and the balance due. The balance is
due upon arrival, payable directly to the host.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If notice of cancellation is received within five days of booking, the deposit,
less a $100.00 processing fee, will be refnded. Cancellation after that time,
six days or more from date of booking, will result in the loss of the entire
deposit.
There are no refunds of deposits paid for reservations made within 14 days of arrival.
Any change of plan after the reservation has been confirmed will incur
a $50.00 change fee. There are no refunds for early departures once you have checked into an accommodation.
SAFETY AND QUALITY
New York has become much safer overall in recent years and we only offer quality
accommodation in safe, central and interesting areas. Every property is personally
visited and inspected. CitySonnet only represents properties that are of a
specific standard, only ones in which we ourselves would wish to stay. A bad
experience for a guest tarnishes their visit, our business, and the reputation
of the industry as a whole. We want you to use and recommend our agency again
and are building our business on the basis of satisfied customers.

SMOKING
Most of our properties (and most of New York City!) are now non-smoking.
